I have actualy never heard any bashing of Ritsuko! I never generated an opinion on her too...

Asuka is the most bashed from what I've seen, and that's because they refuse to look past her exterior, her crimpson hair, her deep blue eyes, her delicate curves......what was I saying? Oh yeah, Asuka bashing, no not fair at all.

After some time and observation i'd say, that most bashed are Gendo and the SEELE... Asuka, Rei and Shinji right behind them... |

SEELE is not a single unit. Gendo is generally viewed to be a jerk, but rarely is he ever bashed on... He's too pimpin'! I mean, if I may quote my friend "He managed to score with Mother AND Daughter... Think about it... That takes skill!"
Of course at that point I stop paying attention to him and go on to doing something better with my time... And air...
But anywho... Do we need to make this a poll of some sorts? I still believe Shinji comes out on top because most people get annoyed with him too quickly to actually get to know the kid. Asuka is bashed by big time Rei, Misato, and of course... Touji fans.
Like I said in my first post on this thread... It all depends on who you talk to.

to tell you the truth, I think most bashing comes from fans hwo take sides {ritsuko fans bashing rei etc}.
To me this is nothing more than "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder "

1) Bashing in a Rei v Asuka fight doesn't count.
2) Shinji is, assuredly, the most bashed, if only because he is a whiney lil bitch.
To go on, yes, Shinji has a fucked up life, as did our beloved red haired siren, and they take absolute opposite tacts at attacking it. Shinji goes into himself and has no confidence. Asuka acts out as though she has confidence, which is just as bad...
In any case, people bash ole Shinji to hell.
